Join global policy makers, thought leaders and practitioners as we explore the latest findings from Public Trust in Tax 2024: Latin America and Beyond, a groundbreaking survey covering 26 countries, with a special focus on Latin America.

Trust is a key component in tax morale. Understanding how taxpayers perceive the existing systems, and who is most trusted to help improve those perceptions, is fundamental to building enhanced trust and engagement, ultimately supporting sustainable development.

The OECD, IFAC (The International Federation of Accountants) , and ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)  are delighted to invite you to the launch of the latest edition of Public Trust in Tax 2024.  Building on previous Public Trust in Tax surveys and research by the OECD, this new edition features insights from 10 countries in Africa and Asia. It also takes a deeper dive into 16 economies of Latin America, and highlights some of the challenges faced by governments and tax authorities, bringing new insights onto the existence and functioning of the fiscal contract both in theory and practice.

This 90-minute webinar will:

  • Present the key findings of the Public Trust in Tax 2024 survey;

  • Explore the correlations between characteristics and attitudes towards tax issues;

  • Foster dialogue among policymakers, tax authorities, academics, International Organizations, and the accountancy profession to promote evidence-based reforms in taxation and trust-building initiatives globally.

Simultaneous translation in English and Spanish will be available
